Aunties Ice Cream needed a brand that embodied sophistication with a playful twist, reflecting the “rich auntie vibes” of the owner’s Ghanaian heritage. The flavors are inspired by African ingredients, sourced from the continent, and crafted locally in Durham, NC. The visual identity was designed to feel elevated and warm while celebrating cultural heritage and appealing to modern food lovers.

The Aunties Ice Cream logo combines a personal, handwritten element contributed by the founder’s husband with balanced, sophisticated typography and gold accents. Subtle design details nod to the “rich auntie and uncle vibes” that inspired the brand, creating an identity that feels both elevated and playful. Product photography highlights the rich textures and flavors, while the web and digital graphics maintain a polished yet approachable aesthetic.
